Head and Professor of Department of Chemistry at Hong Kong Baptist University. Prof. Wong mainly focuses on lanthanide chemistry for spectroscopy studies and molecular imaging in chemical biology. He has published more than 130 papers and was awarded 2015 ERES Junior award from The European Rare Earth and Actinide Society. He serves as the editor in Journal of Luminescence (Elsevier) and international advisory board member in ChemPlusChem (Wiley).
A background in pharmaceutical chemistry and drug design from his studies at University of Leicester and University College London. Achilles received a PhD in Chemistry at Hong Kong Baptist University. He is working on the R&D and providing clinical trial support of medical devices and services. Achilles is in charge of the technology transfer and scale up projects, coping with the quality control of manufacturing process with optimized procedures.
Head of Science and Technology
Eugene had around 10 years of experience working with advanced scientific equipment in three local Universities and maintaining the quality management of laboratory in Hong Kong and PRC. His excellent experimental skills and cheerful disposition benefit the development of innovative technologies. Eugene received a PhD in Biology and Chemistry at the City University of Hong Kong. He is recently working with experts in ISO 15189 environment.
Head of Operations
Miyuki has a BS in Chemistry (HKBU) and an MS in Food Safety and Toxicology (HKU). She joined New Life after the graduation and is one of the founding members. She works on the design of multicentre studies and closely interact with various hospitals locally and globally. Most recently, she led the team for setting up subsidiary company in Japan.
Head of Regulatory and Clinical Trial
More than 10 years of experience working in both private sectors and public bodies, including handling ethics and regulatory documents and CFDA accreditation. Kim has a BS in Computing Mathematics (CityU) and an MS in Epidemiology and Biostatistics (CUHK). She joined New Life in 2019, where she leads the team in clinical and regulatory affairs.
Medical Laboratory Director
Dr Szeto received his MS in Biochemical Technology (HKPolyU) in 1997 and PhD in Biomedical Science (HKPolyU) in 1999. Dr Szeto has been a Registered Medical Laboratory Technologist (Part 1) for near 30 years. He is responsible for set-up of the medical laboratory and ISO15189 accreditation.
